Once you’ve acquired a sizeable collection of apps on your iPhone or iPad, you may find yourself craving some semblance of organization. You’ll want word games with word games, educational apps with educational apps, and all your social networking tools in one place.
To move apps around on your iPhone screen (also called a “springboard”, though no one seems to use this name), follow these simple steps:
1. Touch and hold any app icon until all the apps start wiggling.
2. Find the app you want to move, and slide it where you want it.
3. To move it to a different page, slowly slide it halfway over the edge of the screen until the page “flips”.
4. To avoid feeling seasick, move app icons as slowly as possible.
That’s it. Now you can organize yourself silly, and hope your kids don’t figure out how to do this.

That’s the problem… my toddler has figured out the organizing and deleting functions and has deleted a few of my apps. Is there an app to lock the delete option, so they have to have a passcode or something to delete apps??
I’m with you Kimi… I need to find and app or setting to be able to “Lock” my toddler from being able to move and delete apps???? I am having no luck.
You?
Jason
I need a lock too. My 3 yo thinks moving the apps is a “game” in and of itself. it drives me nuts coz it take me forever to get them all back the way I want them.
Easy solution: don’t let your toddler play with your phone. It’s not rocket science.
