Chicktionary Lite for the iPhone and iPod touch is a free educational app that delivers a whole lot of poultry-flavored word search fun.
True, it’s not the best word game I’ve ever played on the iPhone (see Bookworm), but the price is right and the chickens are funny.
What’s Hot:
The chicken head bobbing and clucking (when your kids use one of their letters to make a word) is nice, as is the “beak sneak” option (which fills in one letter from each of the words not yet found). Also, you get 12 levels, which is v-e-r-y generous for a free game.
We tested version 1.7, which is compatible with the iPhone (OS 3 or later) and the iPod touch. Developer BlockDot, Inc. Read our disclosure policy.
Love, LOVE, this game..I can’t wait to show my daughter when she gets home from school!
